Apply liberally or generously, depending on the needs of the plant and soil. As a general rule, 1 tablespoon (10 grams) of granules per 12-in. pot; or, 3 tablespoons (30 grams) per square yard of soil.

Apply direct to soil around the plant or work into the top 2-3 inches of soil around the plant.

For lawns and turf, at least two applications per year are recommended at a rate of 10-15 lbs per 1,000 square feet.
